![]() We looked forward to the pictures he posted every Friday which showed the progress from that week. His responsiveness was very reassuring and he went out of his way to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied with every detail. There were times that I would think of something at 11 o’clock on a Saturday night and he would answer. He was available to me literally every day and would respond to my emails and texts at any hour of the day. We wanted a number of Southwestern details in the tiling of the bathrooms, the backsplash and the entry foyer and Dylin helped us get shipments of tiles from California and Texas. Dylin warmly welcomed their input which put us at ease. We had a contractor friend and his artist wife who served as our “design team.” My wife and I relied on this couple for their advice when it came to making all of the decisions about the interior of the house. Dylin was on site every day to supervise the various teams and report back to me and my wife about the progress. We were very fortunate to have Dylin Hobbs as our project manager. ![]() The next nine months were very exciting for us as we watched our dream house being built. Three outstanding builders submitted their bids but our experience with Brian and his team made us confident that we wanted Miner to build our house. Nearly two years later, we put our architect’s plans out for bidding. He spent about two hours with us and walked us through the steps we would need to take to make it happen. We had seen some of the DL Miner homes around the island and asked to meet with him. We were lucky that the first person we met was Brian Stuart. When we first started thinking about building a new home on our family-owned lot in Stone Harbor, the whole process seemed almost too intimidating to begin.
